Our diapers began using a store-bought pattern and quickly evolved into our own creation as we figured out the best fit and the materials that worked best for us, and for our testers.

Sizing is as follows:

Newborn: up to about 12 pounds

Small: approximately 10-16 pounds

Medium: approximatly 15 to 26 pounds

Large: approximately 24 to 40 pounds

Please keep in mind that sizing is approximate. If your baby has overly thin or chubby legs, or is more “thick” or thin through the waist, these approximations may be off by a pound or two.

Do you offer your items for sale anywhere else?
Occasionally, yes. We’re part of the “Amici, Bambini, Amore” congo (group of stores) on www.hyenacart.com, but we are NOT part of “Misfit Moms” on the same website. There was some confusion about this. We also occasionally offer our items at local craft shows. Contact us for dates.

Why don’t we use the microfleece and polyester products that many other diaper companies use?
Because we found that there are a surprising number of babies who are sensitive to the polyester, including our own. We’ve had to be very careful what we put against our own baby’s bum; therefore, I opted to use cotton and bamboo fabrics in our diapers.

What do hook and loop diapers include?
All hook and loop (Velcro-type) diapers also include laundry fold-back tabs in order to reduce diapers clinging to each other and to other fabrics in the wash. Stitching on all hook and loop tabs is reinforced with extra stitching.

What is the inner layer of the diapers made out of?
The inner layer (that touches baby’s bum) is made of either cotton sherpa or bamboo velour. Sherpa is considered standard for our diapers…there is currently an additional charge for bamboo velour.

We currently offer All-In-One (AIO), All-In-Two (AI2) and Fitted diapers. Fitted diapers DO require the use of a seperate cover, be it wool or PUL. We are not currently offering covers.

What is PUL?
PUL is PolyUrethane Laminate. This is a breathable, yet waterproof layer, available in two weights - 1 mil, which most of our solid colors are treated with, and 2 mil, which is added to all of our printed PUL.

What are All in Ones (AIO)?
We make our AIO’s with an outer layer of waterproof, yet breathable PUL. The absorbent layer is made with either Bamboo French Terry. The inner layer, which touches baby’s skin, is made with either sherpa knit terry, which is a cotton fabric. We chose this because our own little guy was sensitive to some of the polyester fleece that was available. We are also offering Bamboo Velour, a luxurious and VERY eco-friendly fabric as an upgrade option in our diapers!

What are All in Twos (AI2)?
These are made with the same quality fabrics as the AIO’s, with slight differences in construction. Snap-out, tri-fold bamboo soakers allow for maximum absorbancy. These same fabrics keep the diapers trim and they are quick to dry, whether you air dry or tumble.

Why buy your wipes?
These can be made with two layers of flannel for quick cleanups, or flannel backed with sherpa for gentle scrubbing action for the messiest jobs. There is also a multitude of other uses for these handy wipes: keep one in a zip bag for quick face clean ups when eating out, wiping the biggest and smallest of runny noses, wiping up small spills, etc.

Why are your wipes sized the way they are?
We found that the 8.5 by 8.5 inch size allows those who want to use a wipes warmer to do that, and allow everyone else adequate surface area to clean up even the messiest messes.

What types of payments do we accept?
Currently we accept credit card payments via Paypal, and personal checks. Personal checks must clear before any work is started on the order.

I’ve received my order, and the diapers don’t fit. Can I return them?
Due to the personal nature of the item, returns cannot be accepted. We recommend the For Sale or Trade (FSOT) forums on Diaperswappers.com

I really like one of your printed fabrics, can I order a pocket diaper?
Not at this time. There are licensing restrictions on pocket diapers, and at this point in time, we don’t have the resources to handle that.

Are your diapers made in a factory?
Nope! We’re proud to be keeping our company entirely work-at-home (WAH). We are considering hiring other WAH people, but our goal and focus is to provide others with the opportunity to work around their children, too.
