Summer and life and….
0 Comments Published by admin June 29th, 2009 in Business Updates, DB Impressions, DoodleBunz, Family, Macro, My Kids, diapers, random thoughtsDoes this not look ABSOLUTELY divine? Well, it was! (I didn’t even used to LIKE black raspberries!)
I love summer. Absolutely love it. Including the ridiculous amounts of work that come with it, I love every moment. I love the heat, I love the pool, I love the copious amounts of fruit that are ripe for the picking, I’m SO grateful for my Aunt and Uncle who generously share their black raspberry patch…
There is lots in the works around here. There’s a new flower bed on its way, there’s kids who are happy and tanned and tired at the end of each day, a dog who’s BUSHED at the end of the day….and a diaper site that should be up and running again shortly. DB Impressions is running a sale (email for details, its a great one and won’t happen again for a LONG time….) and there are some SERIOUSLY cool pics coming this way in the next couple of weeks!
But for now, I leave you with this. Yum.
I was up entirely too early this morning, for no particular reason, so I took my cameras and went and enjoyed the sunrise. Sort of. (the bugs were bad) ANYWAY…. feel free to come listen to the birds with me!

3 Comments Published by admin June 5th, 2009 in DB Impressions, Family, My Kids, PhotoStory Friday, PhotosEarlier this week, I teased you with the thought of the photographer *gasp* attempting portraits of her own kids. OutDOOR portraits, no less, in between the rain drops that have been falling nearly ALL week, keeping said kids cooped up FAR too much. So…here is photographic evidence of why there are so few portraits of Blondie and Toddler together!
Or one isn’t looking….or Daddy tries to help….
Or you can’t see someone’s head…
Or you get an extra character and a goofy “smile”….
Or, they just don’t stay in the tree quite long enough! Despite all that, we ended up in giggle fits, and with some pretty funny memories! So….all wasn’t lost!
During this beautiful weekend, I had the pleasure of working with Ellie, our senior rep for the Class of 2010 from Hershey Christian School! She is a beautiful and talented young lady, and she, her Mom and I had a wonderful time creating the perfect images!

Its been hard to tear myself away from processing this weekend, even though I was blessed with extra time to just hang out with the kids, so I hope you enjoy the preview! Thanks for working with me Ellie, I can’t wait to hear what you think of all the images!

Search BlogAboutI’m a mom to 2 great kids, married to my high-school sweetheart and working from home. My businesses are my way of making a contribution to our budget, and doing something that’s become a passion to me. I love all things “green” or “hippy-ish,” and love to teach others how being eco-friendly doesn’t HAVE to be a lot of extra work or expense. In fact, many times it can be both easier and less expensive. Despite “my hippy ways” as my husband calls them, I’m fascinated by gadgets. I love them. Can’t explain it, but I do. I also love to write (and edit), and take pictures, knit, crochet, ride horses (if and when I have the opportunity) and read. |
